I’ve launched my official website in conjunction with my first show in over five years! So please add www.amoderatebeing.com to your bookmarks. I will do my best to update that site more than this blog (sorry, life happens sometimes) and I hope that you will all continue to check out my photographic progress.

Hope to see you at the Magnolia Gallery on the 2nd!

Cheers!

Coral necklace by designer Charmaine Marshall. You can see more beautiful jewelry on her website, or stop by and check out her trunk show at newly opened designer vintage clothing store Factory Girl in Deep Ellum.

My great-grandmother (she’s actually a great-great grandmother!) Mable Herndon, who turned 94 this past weekend!!! Every time I go to visit her, she has me in tears with stories of her past. I hope I’m blessed to live such a full life like she has.

INSIDE THE TREEHOUSE

A dear friend of mine, Sean Springer, of Springer Design Studio hosted an open house last month, showcasing his breathtaking home and furniture designs. The wonderful thing about Sean and his work is that he uses reclaimed wood from various sources to create such unique and sustainable fine pieces. It was also his birthday. Happy Birthday, Sean! Click above to see my photos and be sure to stop by his website to view more of his stunning work.
